Chile: On the death of former President Frei, the government filed a complaint in turn

Former president (1964-70 ) Frei Montalva died at age 71 following a benign operation in 1982, during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet (1973-1990).
The judge handling the case has indicted a total of six people, including four physicians, or for having done the former head of state a " injection of toxic substances" on the orders of the military regime, or for trying to hush up the case, including falsifying the autopsy report.
Mr. Frei Montalva was also the father of Eduardo Frei, also president from 1994 to 2000 and the center-left candidate in the last presidential election won by the entrepreneur billionaire Sebastian Pinera right.
The announcement comes two weeks after the initiation of an initial investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of President Salvador Allende died during the coup of General Augusto Pinochet that toppled the leftist government, 11 September 1973.
An autopsy concluded that Allende had suicide, but this is disputed by some political sectors and organizations defending human rights
